Another Shaker Card
While I'm sharing Father's Day cards (belatedly), this was the one I had made for my hubby (sorry for the light reflection in the window sheets...it really seemed to jump off the gold foil heart near the bottom of the greeting). This card was made with the b&w striped paper in the Pop of Pink pack and the Jars of Love stamp set and coordinating framelits. The greeting I chose was 'You fill me with happiness' as it went with what I wanted to share to him on this inside:)

Bear Hug Card for Papa
I'm a bit behind on posting, but this was the Father's Day card I made for my Papa this year, but I thought I could post it anyway as it could easily work for other occasions and many of you might have men in your life who love the lake and fishing.
I used the Bear Hugs stampset and coordinating framelits for this card. The background on the distressed whisper white piece was stamped in pool party with an image from the Work of Art stamp set. The fish from the Bear Hugs stampset were coloured with an aqua painter dipped in 3 colours of SU ink.

Make & Take #3 - Shaker Card - Jars of Love with Pop of Pink
This was the third make & take at my new catty workshops. This one, a shaker card. The New Catty has some wonderful new strips of dimensionals that are great for making shaker cards! All you need is a piece of SU window sheet and something to fill your card with (here I used hearts from the treat bag thinlets/framelits set, but the new confetti punches would work great too!).
I used the new Jars of Love stampset and coordinating framelits for all images, and that wonderful patterned paper comes from my new favourite pack, Pop of Pink:)

Make & Take #1 from My New Catty Workshops (June & July) - Treatholder
When you're counting your points, you look for things other than candy to put in treatholders... When I found these adorable purse sized tissues recently, I designed this treatholder around them as a result:) It's made using the envelope punchboard and a piece of Flirty Flamingo cardstock together with a piece of Emerald Envy dsp from the in colour stack. I also used the Thioughful Banners new stampset and coordinating punch on this project.

Work of Art - Bible Journaling
As many of you know I'm a Bible Journaler and while I don't always share my pages on this blog (I usually share in our Instagram community), I thought I'd share this page today because it uses some supplies from SU that lend themselves well to Bible Journaling. I used the Work of Art stamp set from the Annual Catalog on the page above to create my rainbow & I used the 'peace' greeting from the Christmas Greetings thinlits which have been carried forward into the Occasions Catalog and continue to be available.

Masculine Bear Hugs - Let's Go Fishing
You've seen me use the Bear Hugs bundle a couple different ways the last few months, and admittedly, I'm a fairly girly-girl so I don't always go for a masculine design unless I have a person or occasion in mind. Today I pulled out the Bear Hugs bundle again with the thought of a guy (your dad or grandpa) going fishing and this is what I came up with. The fish on the line were all painted with an aqua painter & SU inks to create my version of rainbow trout;)

Bear Hugs - Make & Take
This was a make & take card I did with my March workshops using the Bear Hugs bundle. Are you wondering where I got that dsp that was used for the bear's bow and skirt? It comes from the It's My Party designer washi tape in the Occassions catalog. That's right, you can use wash tape to cut out framelet images, all you have to do is put a strip of washi on some whisper white cardstock, stamp your image & then cut it out, easy peasy! The trim on this card comes from the Baker's Twine combo pack that is part of the It's My Party Suite in the Occasions catalog. You get two colour combos in the pack: black/melon mambo and black/mint macaron ...and I love the black & ___ striped effect on this baker's twine! I also used a bit of Wink of Stella on the skirt, bow & sentiment (love you, in the heart) on this project:)

Who says Watercolouring has to be rustic, glamming it up with Birthday Blooms & Glitter Ribbon
Toda's card is a re-take on the ones I posted yesterday, but this time I also painted the image with the Wink of Stella pen giving it some glitter and then finished it off with that gorgeous Pool Party glitter ribbon:)

Watercolouring with Birthday Blooms
For today's cards I white embossed the large floral image from the Birthday Blooms stamp set onto watercolour paper and then coloured the image using an aquapainter and ink from several of SU's in pads in colours that coordinate with the Birthday Bouquet suite (although rather than watermelon wonder I went with pinks along with blushing bride).

More Birthday Bouquets & Birthday Blooms
I might have gotten a little bit carried away with the amount of dsp I used on the above cards, but who could blame me with how pretty the Birthday Bouqet dsp is?!
I also used the Birthday Blooms stamp set which is so pretty and I luv the font too.
And I finished off with some more of that gorgeous Pool Party glitter ribbon & a Bow paper clip on each.

Birthday Bouquet, Birthday Blooms - KISS cards
I made this set of 4 cards using the beautiful Birthda Bloom stamp set from the Occasions Catalog along with the Birthday Bouquet dsp, and I couldn't resist finishing them off with that gorgeous Pool Party glitter ribbon...I've just fallen in luv with it!

Pretty Papers... Birthday Bouquet DSP Notepad
I think the Birthday Bouquet papers in the Occasions catty are some of the prettiest ever, so that's why I chose to use them when I made this little notepad for a friend:) The notepad is set in to a piece of whisper white heavy cardstock that I've scored to wrap around and have a 1" lip at the top of the pad, then I affixed a piece of wintow sheet and decorated with a border of pool party and some flags I created with the Birthday Bouquet dsp and a few other pretties like a Bow paper clip with some of the gorgeous pool party glitter ribbon and a bit of blushing bride sequin trim:)
I wrapped it all in this kraft bag that I created flags on using the thinlets from the treatbag set. The greeting comes from the Rose Wonder stamp set.

Love Blossoms - What to do when you have lots of dsp scraps
I was inspired by Connie C the other day...I had a bunch of scraps of the Love Blossoms dsp on my craft desk after making all the treats for my Bible Study ladies, so I made this card because I just love all the patterns in that paper!! The greeting comes from the 'what I like about you' stamp set, only I purchased it in French as you can see:) This card was made for a very special little in my life!!

Happy Valentine's Day to My Love
I used the Going Global suite of products to create this valentine for my husband this year. I luv the world map embossing folder and the images in the coordinating stampset. I used the globe, the love banner, the big dipper all on this card & 2 more of the sentiments inside (see below:) The card base was made of pool party card stock.

Treat Pouches for My Bible Study Ladies
Last week we concluded our Ladies Bible Study on the Armor of God, and for our big finale we all were to be bring an appetizer or treat to share. These were the treats I brought...little pouches made out of Love Blossom dsp with a little scripture from Colossians on it that went with the theme of our study...'above all put on love' or 'whatever you wear, put on love' :) These each had lindt valentine chocolate in them:) The project came together quite quickly which was great since I had 30 to make:)
Also, below is a little coordinating bookmark I made for each lady...I made a few different versions as I didn't have enough of all one ribbon for them all...

Panda Bear Hugs
My daughter's name is Amanda...we have called her Amanda-Panda since she was little, so the first thing I thought when I saw the new Bear Hugs stampset and coordinating framelits was to make them into panda bears. This was my first attempt & it is my valentine card for my daughter this year:)
The card has lots of dimension as I stamped, watercolored and printed out Mama and Papa panda and baby panda, along with the hat, skirt & bow (which were stamped on the Love Blossom dsp)...and also the 'love you' heart and the bouquets...all come from the Bear Hugs bundle:)
I then cut with the deco labels framelits right through the matt and cardbase so my panda family could pop right through...and I used a few dimensionals to make mama & papa bear hug our Amanda-panda:)
I grounded the images inside the card with a little watercoloring in mint macaron. The card base was crumbcake.
...and this morning I made a quick treatpouch with the mini treatbag thinlets and some more of the Love Blossoms dsp, which I filled with some valentine lindt chocolates:)

Valentine Treat Pouch
This little treat pouch was made with the Love Blossoms DSP pack and the scallop square framelet. It's the same idea as the sour cream container treatholders that so many make except the top is open (with chocolates spilling out). I also used the bow builder punch to decorate the project...sweet!

Mint Macaron 'Bonjour' - featuring 'What I like about you'
The flowers in the background of this card were stamped with a 3 step flower stampin the SAB stamp set, What I love (like) about you that can be earned for free during SAB. I stamped the 3 images in black, mint macaron & craft white. I stamped the stripes in the mounting piece in mint macaron using an image from the Hello stamp set, also available for free for a limited time during SAB, and, of course, 'bonjour, chere amie' comes from the 'Hello' stampset also (as you can see it's a favourite as I've featured it several times before:)

Going Global
I think the Going Global stamp set in the new occasions catty is probably one of my all time favourites. Here I've used it on this card along with the world map embossing folder and a lace doily and some of the botanical vellum from the stack you can earn for free during SAB.

Bloomin' Heart Blessing Card
I created this card using the Bloomin' Heart thinlet on blushing bride cardstock. I cute the smaller flowers out of rose red and after attaching them I painted them with my wink of stella pen for a little glitter:) The dsp on this project comes from the Bloomin Hearts stack and the lace is the in colour lace from the annual catalog in tip top taupe. The greeting is a stamp from the Rose wonder set, and the card base is the new thick white carstock, which is great for card bases!:)

Speaking of Bonjour....
This card again features the same set as I used in my post yesterday, Hello (free for a limited time in SAB). This time I've used it for a birthday card (bonne fete:) I've used the heart paper from the bloomin' hearts stack. The black & white dot paper comes from the going wild stack and then there's the blushing bride glimmer paper which is new in the occasions catty:)

Bonjour! ...or should I say 'Hello';)
This is the last of the cards from my stamp club this month and it is made with a stamp set you can earn for free called 'Hello'. I chose to get the stamp set in French, hence the 'bonjour' above...luv it!!
Bonjour, chere amie = Hello, good friend!:)
The dsp I used on this card come from the Bloomin' Hearts stack in the occasions catty. The striped background piece though is just whisper white cardstock that I stamped the stripes on using the Work of Art stampset from the annual catalog, in blushing bride. The card is finished off with one of the cute little bow clips that come in the occasions catty:)

Bloomin' Heart
Another card today from my stamp clubs this month. This one features the new bloomin' Heart thinklit die in the Occasions catalog. I love the intricacy of the heart it creates, and here I've paired it with stamps (roses) and sentiments) from the Rose Wonder stamp set (that can be bundled with the rose garden thinlits I showcased yesterday:). The two little flower embellishments can be cut also using the bloomin' heart thinlit and the striped bakers twine I used for the bow is also new in the Occasions catty (comes in a two pack - melon mambo is the other colour not shown above).

A Rose By Any Other Name...
Here is another card I made with my Stamp Club this week. It features the Rose Garden thinlit dies. I love that large rose image! The greeting on this card came from the same set I showcased yesterday, Sky is the Limit. I love the font in the sentiments in that set. I used the trio punch to create the corners and ribbon slot for this little tag. the background of the tag was just created with with an aqua painter and some bushing bride in. The dsp project comes from the Love Blossoms stack in the Occasions catty.

Sky is the Limit
This was one of the cards we made at my Stamp Club this month. It features a FREE sale-a-bration stamp set, Sky is the Limit. I love how versatile the set is and frankly it can be a perfect one for masculine cards, which most of us often struggle with. Here I've used another new project from the Occasions catty, the world map embossing folder to create the lost lagoon background piece. I also used some of the vellum from the botanicals vellum stack that is also available for FREE during sale-a-bration...I used the vellum for the clouds and the propeller...the propeller is actually cut out with one of the dies in the flower flair framelits:)

On MY WIsh List - Picture Perfect
Ever wonder what's on my wish list? As a demonstrator I was allowed to preorder from the NEW Occasions Catalog in December, and it was hard to narrow down my list. However, you can't get everything all at once. As the catalog went live this week, one stamp set that has really stood out to me that I didn't preorder is the Picture Perfect Stampset. Take a look at this video and you'll see why!:)

Husband's birthday!
I just realized I never posted the card I made for my husband back in November. The main image was actually created with an embossing folder a sweet friend gave me, though not SU, I know you'll forgive me given the image:) ....I ran it through the big shot on black SU card stock and then I inked the embossed image with whisper white craft ink from SU...the card base is soft suede from SU and the bull clip came in one of the paper pumpkin kits from SU...the card was finished off with a few scraps of glimmer paper and dsp which I flagged with the little banner punch...it's all finished off with a bit of natural twine from SU. The inspiration for this card came from a Parisian menu...they often have chalkboard effects and something clipped on the front like features for the evening:)

Tools You can Use! ...for the Big Shot - Precision Base Plate AND Big Shot Die Brush!!
A few days ago I shared a flip frame décor project I've been working on using many of the new items from the Occasions Catty. This is another page I'm working on and I created that gorgeous heart with the NEW blushing bride glimmer paper (LUV it!!) and the NEW Blooming Heart Thinlet dies (the greeting below comes from the French version of a FREE SAB set called 'What I love':)
I'll share more projects with the Blooming Heart Thinlet in the coming week as my stamp club meets next Thursday and we will definitely be playing with this new die!! In the meantime though, I wanted to share with you some videos about 2 tools for the Big Shot that make using intricate thinlets like this so much easier!!
The first is the Big Shot Die Brush, which is NEW in the Occasions Catalog, and I can't believe how easy it makes to get all those little bits out after you cut intricate dies...it's been amazing with both the Blooming Hearts AND the Rose thinlet dies from the Occasions Catty (and it's great for those intricate butterfly ones from the Annual Catalog also!!)
Here is a video from SU showcasing not only the Blooming Heart die, but also the Big Shot Die Brush...if you have a Big Shot, I'm pretty sure you're going to want this brush, and the good news is it's pretty reasonably priced:)
The other TOOL that is really good with these intricate thinlet dies is the Precision Base Plate. I was late coming to the table on this product which was introduced in the Holiday Catalog, but when it was on weekly deal a bit over a month ago, I broke down and with all the new intricate dies from the Occasions Catalog I'm thrilled I did. Here is the SU video on this tool and a second one with further tips and tricks. One caution I'd give is to be careful if you use this product with the magnetic platform...Brandy does use the two together in the video above, but as the Precision Base Plate is metal they can create a powerful bond and I wouldn't want anyone to hurt themselves...SU also cautions about this in the videos below.

Teacup Framelits
One of my favourite things in the new Occasions Catalog are the teacup framelits! Here's I've paired them with stamps and sentiments from the new Rose Wonder stampset as I made a birthday card for a dear friend over the holidays:) ...the patterned vellum is also new and is one of the items that can be earned for free during SAB!
