Timeless Portrait Card

I made this appreciation card recently for someone who shared some amazing insights and personal learning. When she spoke she used an image of a tree as God, and I couldn't help but think of her as swinging confidently, freely, connected to that tree. So I pulled out this stamp from my Forever Young stampset and made this card.

Recipe (all SU):

Cardstock - cherry cobbler, island indigo, basic black, whisper shite

Ink - basic black

DSP - timeless portrait

Stamps - forever young, strength & hope

Dies - label collection framelit dies; vintage wallpaper embossing folder

Heart Framelits - Heart Box

I made this heart box using my heart framelits to put my husband's valentine's gift in...he had wanted a compass so I put a compass in this box and filled the box with little notes about things I love about our adventures together:)

Recipe (all SU except for lock):

Cardstock - soft suede, very vanilla

DSP - well worn

Stamps - artistic etchings

Ink - soft suede, early espresso

Dies - heart framelits (the large scalloped one and then the next size down)

Ribbon - ridinghood red pleated satin, linen thread

Other - vanilla smooch spritz

Heart Framelits - Hot Air Balloon Valentine's Card

This was the valentine card I made for my hubby this year:) I wanted to use my new heart framelit dies but I didn't want it to end up looking to feminine...then I came up with a hot air balloon idea and it fit so well with some of adventures that I thought it would work. I paired it with the well worn dsp which added to the feel. I just love the sheet I used to cut the hearts out for the balloon with the red fleur des lis...my husband and I both just love Paris:)

Recipe (all SU):

Cardstock - soft sued, very vanilla, not quite navy

DSP - well worn

Stamps - clearly for you

Punches - heart to heart, postage stamp

Dies - heart framelits; perfect details textures plate

Other - crystal effects (small heart on amour banner); linen thread (strings on balloon and accross banner); vanilla smooch spritz

Tea Shoppe Card 4

One last card from last weekend's class. I already gave you a preview of this one here, but below are the details of what was used to create this card:

Cardstock - ridinghood red, island indigo, baja breeze, whisper white

DSP - twitterpated

Stamps - tea shoppe & very vintage wheel

Punches - large and small tag punch

Trim - white bakers twine and ridinghood red pleated satin

Dies - Edgelits and coordinating texture folder

Another card from this past weekend's class...same basic ingredients, but this time we also used the 1 1/4 and 1 3/8's square, boho blossoms and heart to heart punches.

Just another card from this weekend's class...same ingrediates as in previous Tea Shoppe Card post plus we used the framelit dies and the word window and modern label punches.

I love this large teacup image from the Tea Shoppe stampset. This was another of the cards from the class this weekend.

Cardstock - ridinghood red, basic grey, whisper white, limeade

DSP - twitterpated

Stamps - Tea Shoppe

Punches - scallop trim border, scallop oval and large oval.

Inks - basic black, ridinghood red

Marker - tempting turquoise/island indigo

Tea Caddy

We had a great time at the Tea for Two class I did on Saturday! This tea caddy was one of the five projects we made. The main box is made out of a 6 x 12 piece of baja breeze textured cardstock. The base is a piece of dsp backer/carboard covered by baja breeze and it's topped with a lid, so you can easily refill with teabags. Ribbon is the baja breeze seam binding and all the cardstock comes from the twitterpasted dsp pack...all stamps come from the Tea Shoppe set.

Happiest Birthday

This was a recent birthday card for a dear friend. I used the Apothecary Art stamp set from the Occasions Mini along with the Everyday Enchantment from the Sale-a-bration flyer (which you can earn free right now with a minimum order!). I coloured the stamped image with SU markers and then went back in with darker touches using a blender pen directly with an ink pad. I also used the striped embossing folder for the background of the card...you can purchase it from the regular catalog or earn it for free right now as part of Sale-a-bration.
