Happy halloween - treat box

This is a treat box I made for a neighbour girl who is dressing as a vanpire.  I used the top note die and a variety of punches along with wisteria wonder and basic black card stock and some googlies.  What I like about making your own boxes like this is you can alter them to be the size you need to fit your treats:)

October Club Project 2 - Punch Art Pirate Treat

With halloween just around the corner, our second club project this week was this treat holder which is made from a top note die cut and one of SU's small cellophane bags filled with treats.  To make the pirate, we just used a variety of circle punches and a label punch, some black and white cardstock and the red polka dot dsp comes from the summer smooches pack.  The patch is threaded on some cherry cobbler baker's twine and the earring is adorned with a rhinestone jewel...and the pirate's one good eye is finished off with a googlie.

Digital Scrapbooking Day - Start Celebrating Monday

Be sure to check out my SU website from Oct 29 - Nov 5th to take part in Digital Scrapbooking Day...all digital kits will be on sale AND there will be free downloads available...don't miss out!:)

Stampin with Sherri Club - last night's first project: Christmas Decor Piece

This was one of the two projects we did last night at club.  We altered a wooden frame and used the images from the Evergreen stampset (which spell out the words to Silent Night in the shape of a tree...we used the 2 step stamping technique - ie. the background tree was stamped in gumball green and then the overlay of the words was stamped in versamark and then black embossed).  The patterned paper we used is from the Be of Good Cheer pack and we finished it off with some cherry cobbler tulle and a brass button.  The matt for the tree was embossed with the lacey brocade embossing folder and the image piece was sprayed with champagne shimmer paint (mixed in a spritzer with rubbing alcohol) to give the image a bit of shimmer.
