Happy Birthday Gorgeous - Take 4

Another card with one of my favourite new stampsets from the Annual Catalog, Happy Birthday Gorgeous!  I've gotten to play again with stamping the flower images to build a focal point and I've paired it again with some fresh florals dsp, this time in powder pink.  I've also used some veluum and I've punched the stamped image piece with the scalloped tag topper punch

Happy Birthday Gorgeous - Take 3

Today's card features the Happy Birthday Gorgeous stampset (and those flower images I love) along with some of my all time favourites, can you spot them?
- fresh florals dsp
- lots of labels framelits
- stitched shapes framelits
- in color bitty bows
- paper doilies
- and the base is thick whisper white cardstock...I don't mention it much, but whenever I do a white card base, I always use the thick version of this cardstock...stands up to all the layering I luv so well!

Happy Birthday Gorgeous - Takes 2 a, b & c!

Today's card features that happy birthday die again...I cut it out, then sponged it with lemon lime twist and tranquil tide...then I glued it on a piece of whisper white cardstock and embellished around the words with various stamps from the Hello Gorgeous stampset in the same ink colours as I sponged the words.  As I mentioned yesterday, I luv how you can build with the flowers, leaves & images in this stamp set!

Here are a couple of alternate cards created the same way...
...above is powder pink & berry burst

...and this one is berry burst & fresh fig!

Happy Birthday Gorgeous - Take 1

Today's card is one of my September make & takes and feature the Happy Birthday Gorgeous stamp set (from the Foil Frenzy suite).  I cut out the happy birthday die using gold foil paper and I paired it with lemon lime twist dsp from the fresh florals stack.  I love the flower stamps from the Happy Birthday gorgeous stampset and how you can build images...you'll see more of that in the samples I share over the next few days.  I also love how lemon lime twist pairs with beryr burst...and have I mentioned how that white cotton ribbon ties?!  It's like butter to work with;)

Crafting Forever -

The other day, I showed you a project again using the Wood Crate dies for the big shot & I thought I'd show you another today.  This time I cut it out of crumb cake card stock that I stamped with the Timeless Textures stamp set to get that 'wood grain' effect.  Then I used the Crafting Forever stamp set to embellish the front.

Crafting Forever is the perfect stamp set for my creative friends!  So I thought I'd also share a little sampler I made featuring the stampset...
I created an easle on the back of this 6x6 piece...the base colour is Fresh Fig & I used the fresh florals in color dsp also:)

Birthday Memories - Take 2

So today's another take on the Birthday Memories Suite, but this time I wanted to feature the adorable dsp that's featured in it.  This project features the paper, the dsp, with minimal stamping...and you know what' awesome, the coordinating framelits cut out many of the images in the dsp making creating with it such a snap...of course, you can fussy-cut them out too:)

Today's project was made with the Wood Crate framelits, cut out of the above dsp & then I made 4 3x3 notecards to go inside...I always need birthday notecards to attach to gifts, so these are ready to go in a snap!

Birthday Memories Suite - Revisited

I shared this card back in July I think in Berry Burst, but today I've revisited it in Fresh Fig, another of this year's new in colors!  I love the ruffled embossing folder more and more every time I use it and that  crinkled seam binding ribbon is probably my all time favourite.  The little girl and flower images are from the Birthday Delivery stamp set which is SO adorable.  Last time I coloured them with my ink pads and a blender pen & this time I used an aqua painter, both work wonderfully depending on your preference!!

This is another card I've been doing in workshops, so I thought I'd share some alternate colours and options today too...

This one's powder pink & the oval is framed with the fresh florals dsp rather than card stock as in the originals (and I've used that wonderful shimmer ribbon again here:)

And this one doesn't use embossed cardstock, but instead I've used berry burst fresh florals dsp for the matt.  You've seen me use that stack with Christmas, with 3 D projects, with coffee projects and now here...I've said it before, it's super versatile!

Coffee Cafe - Take 3

The lighting is not the best for today's project, but trust me, it's even cuter in person:)  I previously shared a little treat holder make with the coffee cafĂ© suite, today is a take on the same idea, but fits a Bath & Body Works hand santizer (inspiration from pinterest:).   And again, I'm using non-traditional colours for coffee related projects, but what I can say, I'm a pink girl & powder pink is one of my all time favourites!!  Don't you love that powder pink shimmer ribbon?!!

This is another make and take for some September workshops:)

Coffee Cafe - Take 2

I said I was going to share a card with the Coffee CafĂ© stamp set and framelits in a non-traditional colour today, well, how about powder pink?!  I also used the new embossing paste (and related stencils) for the background for this card & the cup lids are cut from veluum.

Don't be afraid to try new things & don't feel like you have to make your projects look like the ones in the catalog...those are just reference points...use them to inspire you and then create your way!!:)

Coffee Cafe - What's not to like?

The Coffee CafĂ© Suite has been one of the most popular ones since the Annual Catty was released this summer.  I shared a previous card over a month ago, but want to feature it again as I keep playing.  This card & the projects over the next few days will feature both the stamp set and the framelits that coordinate.

This project is done in fairly traditional colours for the theme; however I didn't use the dsp that's part of the suite because I wanted you to see how versatile it can be (and in the next few days I'll share some non traditional colours also!)  Today's card features the fresh florals dsp in tranquil tide that I used on a Christmas card a few days ago also...see I told you, super versatile!!!

A few of my favourite things from the new Holiday Catty - Good Tidings - Take 5

And finally, one last card using my new fav's...the Good Tidings stamp set and the Merry Music Specialty paper from the new Holiday Catty.  This one is  bit 'fussier' that the past several projects as I fussy-cut the holly images out after stampin them and layered up the creeting with embellishments.  also I used the Pinewood Plakes NEW dynamic textured impressions embossing folder on the crumb cake matt behind the focal point...love the dynamic folders, they create such a deep embossed piece!

A few of my favourite things from the new Holiday Catty - Good Tidings - Take 3

We all need tags right?!  I made this little tag also with the Good Tidings stamp set, but I didn't use any of the new Christmas related dsp's, instead I used my fresh florals in color dsp pack from the Annual catalog...this stack is super versatile & like I said yesterday, tranquil tide is a perfect color for Christmas crafting!!

The tag is stamped on one of the lots of labels framelits (like I said before, so versatile), but for those who prefer punches, there is a new punch in the Holiday catty in a similar (slight different) shape that makes making tags a snap!!

A few of my favourite things from the new Holiday Catty - Good Tidings - Take 2

More of a good thing!  Using the same favourites from yesterday's post, today's card is a snap to put together, so perfect for making a stack of Christmas cards to send, but darling all the same.  So again, the featured new products from the Holiday catty are:  Good Tidings stamp set and Merry Music Specialty dsp!  I also used cherry cobbler cardstock, the lots of labels framelits (again!), a SU lace doily AND a tranquil tide bitty bow from the Annual Catalog (comes in a current in colors pack...they are SO adorable!)

As an aside, I think Tranquil Tide, one of this year's new in colours is a perfect 'green' for Christmas crafting, don't you?!  I like how it has a bit of blue in it...feels just right!!

This card is one of my make & takes for this month's workshops:)

A few of my favourite things from the new Holiday Catty - Good Tidings - Take 1

For the next few things, I'm going to get ahead of the season and post some Christmas projects in honour of the NEW Holiday catalog just released!

Today's project (and those I'll share over the next few days) use some of my favourite new items from the Holiday Catalog including:
- Good Tidings stamp set...my FAVOURITE new stamp set in the catty!  I luv the way you can add dimension and a real artistic feel to a project using the holly and berry images and 3 step stamping!
- Merry Music Specialty Paper - my FAVOURITE new dsp in the catty!  And, yes, though the black and white words on the dsp above do not contain music, they do come from that pack, which is mostly music but has a few other patterns thrown in for versatility also.  Versatile, that's exactly what this dsp is because it's black and white and it has various sizes of sheet music and fonts and sizes of words!  I love it and because it's a lighter-weight paper, you get 24 sheets in the pack, so double for the same price as a standard dsp pack, so a good value too!!

Other goodies used on this project:
- Lots of Labels framelits - these are a 'go to' for me & are probably one of the more versatile of the framelit sets.  I use them all the time & you'll see that evidenced more than once in this month's blog posts!
- The black lace trim I've used above is a retired one.  I think it's sold out from the clearance rack now, but no worries, there's a new one in the Holiday catty and it's even more adorable.  I know it's on my wish list for my next order (just had to use up what I had first;)
- Cherry Cobbler cardstock...my favourite of the SU reds!
- Stitched framelits - another 'go to'...I'm still luving these which were introduced this past spring...here I've used the largest oval.
