Sorry I haven't been posting many projects lately. Any free crafting time has pretty much been spent getting ready for yesterday... Yesterday I did a mother's day project with my daughter's class. I tried to keep the project fairly basic, but also make it something the kids could make their own... and I was blown away of their creativity! Here's the basic idea for the project (of course, the kids filled theirs up with pictures and poems and notes to mom:). The project is basically a mini album made using 2 4x4 coasters for the front and the back with an accordian fold inside. Here's a link to instructions for a similar album (just different dimensions...thanks Angie!)

This is the cutest idea. I always send my girls a Mother's Day card and just haven't found the right thing until now, can't wait to do this on my days off. Thanks for the idea and sharing.
