This mini book is ala
Jenn's tutorial (in
word and in
video). I did change up two things... the instructions say there are 5 pages in the book, but I found that the spine only accommodated 4 with one attached on the back, so I tried making my spine an inch wider

(one extra accordion fold) which worked great for fitting in five pages, but not so great for punching with the crop-a-dile, so I would recommend that you just do 4 pages and follow Jenn's original dimensions. The other thing I changed was to add a smidge to the dimensions of the post-it-note pocket as a pad of post-its did not fit in my first pocket. I made mine using a piece of 5 1/4 x 4 1/4 but if I had it to do a third time I'd use 5 1/8 x 4 1/8. Thanks Jenn for such an adorable idea!! I think I'm going to use this as one of the teacher gifts this year:)

This is super cute! My reason for the dimensions of the spine were just as you described. I can't fit anything larger in my crop-a-dile without showing dents in the paper from forcing it in. I also think all post it notes may be a smidge different as I've had to make my measurements a hair bigger at times too depending on the package.
Thanks Jenn! Also, I live in Canada and so maybe the notes are a slightly different size or thickness here? Who knows... I loved your tutorial it was great!
