February Club - Project 2 - Bulletine Board, all dressed up!

This is the second project we made last night at club.  We used lots of my favourite including my new Dress Up Framelits and the Print Poetry dsp pad!  We also used my favourite saying from the Feel Goods stampset and the Hearts a flutter bundle for the banner at the top!  All of these come from the Spring Catty.   The remaining stamped images come from the Postage Due stamp set in the Annual catalog, a favourite of mine...I love that there is a coordinating postage stamp punch too!

February Club - Project 1

Today is my February Stampin with Sherri Club and this is one of the projects we will be making.  This card is made with the Happy Hello Simply Sent Card Kit which can be earned for free during sale-a-bration.  It also uses the Sycamore Street designer series paper and coordinating ribbon & button pack that can also be earned for free as well!  Oh, and the sentiment comes from the Vintage Versus stamp set that can be earned for free too during sale-a-bration.

Collage Curios and Soda Pop Tops

This card was inspired by page 24 for the Spring Catty...that and some free Sale-a-bration products too - like the Sycamore Street designer series paper and the coordinating ribbon pack (which includes butons too!).  I used the new Collage Curios stampset and Soda Pop Tops to create the focus for this card...I flattened the soda pop top for a different effect (you just use your big shot!) and then I coordinated this piece with images from the Artistic Etchings stampset from the Annual Catty...Artistic Etchings is an all time favourite of mine!  The background for the card is on sahara sand card stock and was embossed with the stripes folder.

Playing 'Dress Up' "Feels Good'!

 

I fell *in love* with the Dress Up framelits on page 32 of the Spring Catty!  On this card I used the dress form framelit and then made a girlie skirt out of the flower trim from page 5 in the catty.  The dsp comes from the Print Poetry pack...what a deal, 48 sheets in the pack, and isn't this pattern delightful?!  And the sentiment comes from the Feel Goods stamp set on page 21 which I stamped in basic grey!  For some reason the background looks pinker in the photo than in person...the frame image is really a raspberry ripple which is is almost a rich red in person with a slight pink undertone:)

Valentines Treat Mailboxes - Make & Take #2

This was the 2nd make & take from yesterday's workshop.  Inside of each of these adorable little mailboxes is 2 Hershey's miniatures.  The idea for this project came from Tami White, who did something very similar a couple of years ago, but she used Hershey nuggets. I can't find nuggets around Saskatoon anywhere these days, so miniatures it was.  The width of the mailbox changes to 1 3/4" but the rest is fairly similar:)

We used the More Amore dsp for this project and the Ciao, Baby!  stamp set and coordinating punches, one of which you can earn for FREE during sale-a-bration, which starts on January 22nd!

Valentine's Workshop - Make & Take #1

At every workshop I like to have 2 free make and takes for the participants.  This was the card we are doing at today's Valentines Workshop.  On it we used the More Amore Suite of products including the dsp and the Hearts a Flutter bundle.  Plus we used the That's the Ticket stampset and coordinating builder punch:)

That's the Ticket - Hearts a Flutter

On today's card I continued to use the Hearts a Flutter bundle which I'm sure you can see I'm in *love* with !  I also used the 'That's the Ticket' new stamp set and the coordinating punch.  Also the heart in the background comes from the More Amore dsp and the doily is from the Paper Doilies pack (can you believe that you can get 24 for just $3.95?!  great, huh!)  I crumped up my doily before adhering it to give a more vintage look:)  I took a bit of inspiration for this card from the project on page 10 of the Spring Catty...that project uses the Artisan Embellishments Kit which I'm also in *love* with!;)

 

 

Monochromatic Hearts a Flutter

 

Today's card was made with the Hearts of Flutter bundle on pool party dsp.  I embossed the background with the lacey brocade embossing folder which carries over from the Holiday Catty (Yeah!) and then I white embossed each of the stamped images.  The greeting comes from the Ciao, Baby stampset and coordinating punch.

 

 

Inspiration for this card came from Kimberley Van Diepen.  She made a similar card a few days ago in crumbcake that I just loved!  Here is a link.

Keep Calm and LOVE!

I made this bookmark for the devotional I am using for 2013.  I decided to join the group of creative people I know who choose 'one little word' for the year...  My 'one little word' for 2013 is LOVE. So I will be focusing on, studying and pursuing LOVE this year. And with me, part of focusing is creating, so I needed to create a new bookmark for this year's devotional ("Love Out Loud").

The 'love' image I used come from the Ciao Baby stamp set in the spring catalog that starts tomorrow.  'Keep calm' comes from a set only available to hostesses in the main catalog.  The dsp I used is the More Amore specialty paper and I also used some of the goodies from the Artisan embellishment pack.

Happy New Year!!

Another sneak peek today from the Spring Catalog.  Not too long now til it starts (Jan 3rd!)

New products on this card include the Hearts a Flutter bundle that I've been using the last few days, but today instead of using it with dsp too, I did all the stamping on cardstock and then string it together with cherry cobbler bakers twine and tied each with bows!  I also embellished with rhinestone jewels, faceted buttons and regular buttons.

And my favourite part about this card is the sentiments.  "the best things in life aren't thing' comes from a new stamp set called Feel Goods in the new spring catalog.  Contact me to receive your copy today!

Today's card uses the Fan Fair dsp and the First Edition dsp from the annual catalog, but also a couple of sneak peek items that I am in love with too...

The first is the new designer builder brads from the Spring Catalog that starts on January 3rd...love the ornate design of these!

Friend Birthday

I have a dear friend who was born on the 24th, so I get to make her birthday card during the Christmas season!  This year's card used the tea shoppe stampset (that I alos used yesterday) and some new products coming out in the spring catalog Jan 3rd including the 'more amore' specialty dsp!

This is a Christmas card I made for one of my dear friends and features the Tea Shoppe stamp set in addition to all the Christmas goodies I've been using all season.

Evergreen Home Decor Piece

The frame I used for a base for this project is just a pine frame you can get at Michaels.  The dsp I used comes from the Snow Festival dsp pack and the stamps are from the Evergreen stamp set...I love the 2 step stamping techniques you can use with this stamp set...and I love that the top tree I stamped (and embossed in black) has the words to Silent Night:).  I also used the Lacy Brocade embossing folder and one of our brights buttons and some cherry cobbler baker's twine...and some rhinesone jewels.  The finished project was sprayed with some champagne mist.

Here's a sneak peek of some new products coming out in the Occasions Catalog on January 3rd!  ...makes me wish my little girl was still little...oh the fun we could have with these...and the dress form is right on trend for crafting for us big girls too;)

Ornamental Giftcard Holder

This giftcard holder came from an idea from a Kelly...and here's a link to her site where she has all the measurements and instructions.   It was super simple to make.  I used the Festival of prints dsp and the Ornamental Keepsake stampset and framelits to decorate mine.
