Thirteen Things that are happening this Easter:

1. For the first time since we've been married, Les doesn't work Easter Sunday!

2. On Good Friday our family will be going through the Stations of the Cross at Church together.

3. This will possibly be followed by a trip to Starbucks:)

4. Les is playing at Church on Easter Sunday.

5. Both Les' folks and my own along with my brother will be our guests for Easter dinner.

6. We will probably colour eggs Easter Saturday (any cool ideas people?)

7. The weather for this weekend looks like it will be amazing:)

8. Our tulips might actually bloom (which is amazing given that just a few days ago we still had some snow!)

9. We'll finish the Easter week devotional we've been doing.

10. Amanda will wear her new fancy purple dress for the first time.

11. During Amanda's Easter break she'll have her friends over for a Hilary Duff movie party.

12. I don't have to work Easter Monday...yah! :)

13. We'll celebrate what our Savior did for us...thank YOU, Amen.

Sounds like you have a fun Easter planned. I always loved new Easter dresses; I hope your daughter enjoys hers. My husband's off this year, too. It's unusual. We always try to escape town over that weekend because it's unbearably crazy. We live in a tourist town, and this is hands-down the busiest weekend of the entire year. People get crazy; they're loud, drunk, and obnoxious. They're unruly and rude. They boss the locals around, park in front of our businesses for hours and don't tip the service industry people--including waitstaff. Sometimes they cause riots. There is always some destruction of property and land to be dealt with afterward. It's a MESS. Because of this, we all dread Easter weekend. How sad is THAT?!?!

We did a lot of cool stuff this year...dyed eggs decorated with glitter glue, drew on eggs with white wax and then dyed them so the waxed area stay white, even tried our hand at ukranian eggs with Kylie's class.

It's all good if it's creative. :)

I visited Kelly earlier and wasn't exactly sure how she wanted to be credited for her design. I plan to use some of them in the future. Thank you for the example. Great List. And yes, Amen.
